Our company recommends that residential garage doors and openers be inspected each year. All moving parts should be inspected for wear and most should be lubricated. In addition, torsion springs should be adjusted to insure full weight of the door is being lifted by the spring alone. Openers should be inspected for wear, tested for sensitivity, and receive lubrication.
